Horowhenua
Tutoring in Levin, because your child counts
Levin is growing fast, and its tutoring options have not kept up - no national provider has a centre in Horowhenua. Impact fills the gap online: one-on-one weekly lessons in maths, English and NCEA subjects for Levin and district families.
Built around Levin students
New subdivisions, new families, same two schools carrying the load. Students at Horowhenua College, Waiopehu College and the district's primaries get a matched tutor who stays with them week to week, with an assessment up front so lessons start where the gaps actually are - not where the year level says they should be.
Every student starts with a relaxed phone call so we understand what is going on at school, then we match them with the right tutor. Juniors can begin with a full numeracy and literacy assessment so lessons target the real gaps from day one.
How online lessons work
- One-on-one, live with your child's own matched tutor
- Same tutor, same day and time, every week
- Built around their school programme, from Year 1 to NCEA Level 3 and adult learning
- Plain-English progress updates for parents
What it costs
One-hour weekly lessons, online 1:1: from $58 for juniors through to $70 for adult learners. A full junior assessment is $249. No lock-in contracts, ever.
No Hub in Levin yet. Maybe that is you.
Impact Hubs are locally owned by people who know their community and their schools. Levin is exactly the kind of place we would love to see one. If you are an educator who has thought about running your own tutoring business, we should talk.
