- Yes. We help children understand and work through their homework so it becomes a calm routine rather than a nightly battle - and so the learning actually sticks.
- My child is behind in reading or maths - can you help?
- Absolutely. We start with a friendly assessment to see exactly where your child is at, then build a plan from that point. Because progress builds confidence, most children start to enjoy the subject again, not just improve at it.
- How do you know what my child needs?
- It starts with a relaxed chat and a junior numeracy or literacy assessment, which shows what your child already knows and what to work on next. See our assessments page for details.
- Can primary tutoring be done online?
- Yes. As well as in-person sessions at our Hubs, we tutor primary and intermediate students online right across New Zealand, so your child can learn from home.
- Do you support children with dyslexia or other learning needs?
- Yes. We offer patient, tailored learning support, and can arrange a full cognitive and educational assessment with a registered educational psychologist where a specific learning difficulty such as dyslexia may be present.
