The CAA exams are a crucial component of the year 10 curriculum. Passing them is a requirement of NCEA in following years and they cover a wide range of numeracy skills. This particular course contains modules which deal with the skills required to extract information from statistics displays in real world contexts, preparing you best for these crucial tests!

This course contains five modules and five quizzes, dealing with:

Statistics Basics: Mean, median, mode, average Timetables: Time conversions, interpreting time charts Analysing Graphs: Calculations: Applying fractions, decimals, percentages, co-ordinates, other number methods using graphs Analysing Graphs: Trends: Explaining interesting features, central tendencies, spread for graphs Justifying Claims: Using mathematics to justify claims. How do we justify claims in mathematics?
